The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

# b7 g9 g$ k/ w2 g) Y2 ~Duties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
8 I7 S3 [( }) j* z5 s/ c" c  X+ @•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
/ _! q- Q5 H& o& N•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
, ^. `% K, d6 m% B: l4 @. D•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

& a  z# @5 j; J$ @Requirements:
5 x, o0 K& |/ a3 W3 u, i' g•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
, i' m+ y* ?. T, @* @•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
