The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

Duties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
* o) g6 L$ z9 t•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
4 _2 f3 c. p* ]% v# ^5 |•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

* V- R/ W8 b0 j$ q; z& m7 r6 j; ^Requirements:
. _: c. a+ U2 d! b, L' Q' E•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
9 T# A* k! _/ ]- Q* V  k•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
$ L* }# @) t* F: k) g3 Z) G•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
9 ?6 I/ W0 S! A* ~% }* C3 _% ~6 g•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
3 N$ I: {5 M  ?•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
