Job Description – Responsibilities
7 e9 G& N" a/ k# v/ Y•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
  V! Q( Q( X6 D4 f& B/ p% f: _8 Z•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
% n: j+ @/ h- T6 I•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
6 @7 f; A& [( u2 X7 Y( }  F•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
+ D8 R% n, V( {•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
7 M* z: n4 e' V$ f3 B+ I9 x: }•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
- _3 a- F( a0 l/ k; b•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

' P+ X- ?+ q! @& u+ P5 |& A. wQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
2 f) T, R" l6 P- H7 l" u•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
