* {0 V4 b# `( T" x/ vPosition: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

2 k/ e2 E( U) @Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
/ @; z' d: U) J8 c; Z# v; C•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
6 j3 b' J  M: v. z7 y3 _' [* y•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
: u  N3 ~! X/ {- p: E•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
; J" E% b- M* u$ n2 a•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
) \, u- k0 I( t0 P! R•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
$ F# m% N$ T& p; F" \) e•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
( J% Q) y2 F, Y" ~' e•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

2 v2 ~' r5 J! E) U8 O! UQualifications
* k: |/ ~2 K% o& J1 I' R; e•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
' L+ Y) |- n( ?. X- f2 Z8 S•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
5 e/ X5 r) L% {( ]4 j7 |' x" C•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
