Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
+ Y* \" e6 \& [6 UFull time position (35 hours each week)

4 m, Z$ i) O+ y: e# {- U4 d: K* tJob Description – Responsibilities
7 c8 N! i, W6 c2 q, q) m•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
' t& i) K, p3 t) O$ y, n1 C•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
8 `- K# `; t9 D7 e# e6 ?•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
: w7 C/ z: V* H1 v•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
2 J( v& z8 B& u$ b! r# m* f•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
( [3 H  W3 R0 W# c. {0 l6 s8 |) m, B•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
1 k. q, c1 p( j) h0 Z* x7 d$ f•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
3 g4 \0 _! X' C% n3 ?•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
! H$ K2 ]+ x& z$ T* G; s9 x1 F•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor
4 I7 x$ ~! W4 y" G
* k6 p0 Q) I  j- lQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
, U( a  v. }& B1 _. E: x•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
# |% I0 N3 |5 r( w•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
5 `4 B9 \& C. h, L) M' q9 L•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
