Full time position (35 hours each week)

. Q) N2 x, _" C; F, y3 `; _Job Description – Responsibilities
3 _8 I* k8 s' O0 w: d•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
7 m1 d% h5 I8 H( K•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
% f9 G' O9 N8 F* q  G7 T: P•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
( g, q! t) ^& n- F) |, x- v, T•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
8 ]" r$ B; m3 M: M7 h0 M* F+ w•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
( `9 a2 k+ n: V+ J! w$ E) L•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
& K; u2 `. ^2 h1 F•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
