Job Description
  r/ U1 z% [1 L/ J0 HPosition: Youth Services Manager
, n( _& Y9 E' {; LFull time position (35 hours each week)

4 Z+ e1 X7 r, p+ ^5 ~Job Description – Responsibilities
7 ?6 @% j/ r9 s: I' m•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
$ y  H1 Q: P& P' n( o/ m/ l& o•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
- ~5 `# L! T+ Z5 Q, r•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
3 E" V6 h$ _1 ?; a  w2 h' {" ]•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
9 E+ I# X+ ]6 y$ x•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

! O8 U' W0 J' V% _4 M/ K' uQualifications
' }, z4 y$ F5 l* s: \& [, A9 T& R•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
! C# {' e0 X  v7 F$ g) y: s8 m•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
) s2 ^- |2 I* v8 ]/ X•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
