Job Description
  Z6 o; b2 }+ |/ w# [Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

4 R/ x# e* d8 J3 z2 v. _" ]' e0 C* Z0 XJob Description – Responsibilities
* f& j* d. I7 a3 F+ h; M•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
1 Y# Z; P7 ?: p' M8 O•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
& o# c+ H! ^/ F•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
% L( p( z( m! I3 H5 R' P9 X•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

  m  v0 K1 X# S* W1 {% c1 C( XQualifications
% g8 m* d* D. G2 ?4 n1 u/ t' r•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
