Position: Youth Services Manager

7 c8 N! i, W6 c2 q, q) m• accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program # c7 {% k% P- C+ _, m
• writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs # b; a0 g) C; H3 ^
• supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program+ a$ g3 R; r, w- }, V9 s
• coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program ' ^( [- s, _* n. Y6 g
• liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
' t& i) K, p3 t) O$ y, n1 C• train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
8 `- K# `; t9 D7 e# e6 ?• accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
: w7 C/ z: V* H1 v• demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre

• degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
, U( a v. }& B1 _. E: x• good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
# |% I0 N3 |5 r( w• experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
5 `4 B9 \& C. h, L) M' q9 L• leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills7 [( J* B9 O- P! I$ w
• willingness to learn
