Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
* ?$ N4 K1 Q# n•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
* E: T9 l$ T7 F•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
' P4 V, b7 H: s/ C•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
. O  `4 C( p4 U; K•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
6 ?+ }# a/ y3 \•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
, l. u6 \$ L, c/ P•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
/ u' U2 N/ f  [% g- i•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

4 s# O0 u! W3 jQualifications
% z( G$ |9 ?+ O•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
& `: z9 X1 \, q- ~  W' b0 M•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
5 p# ?+ i) y0 Q3 [9 J" d" d•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
