Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
! y( Q( f3 z& y1 `•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
; w' S6 o2 j% i; h( e•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
  |  l7 U3 `6 m•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
4 ~1 b3 O! U, {2 D•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
" S; Y$ n/ Q8 w8 ^2 B•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
* F) t- e" _5 `) I•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
1 J! x7 B) ~2 g/ S/ N5 D•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
$ Y/ Z2 ~  m4 Q9 V# r; g- E* T•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
