1 man dead in stabbing
: O! [+ G0 T" ^- I+ A3 lMeanwhile, one male is dead and another is in police custody after an altercation between two groups in an alley early Sunday morning, according to an EPS press release.' R( |& O# q/ `9 ?) ]3 W

At approximately 2:45 a.m. MT, officers spotted a vehicle being driven the wrong way on Gateway Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.+ k4 u: F7 ~" k

Upon stopping the car, the officers learned that one of the passengers, a 24-year-old male, was seriously injured.# B, n" y) c+ G

He was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

' a$ H: G( {% }& iA police investigation revealed that the three male occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a physical altercation with two other males and a female near an alley south of Whyte Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail, which resulted in one male being stabbed.
