Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant, P9 _9 T5 i6 `
Location: Edmonton( O( u$ r/ M+ _0 S; D8 J5 ]1 r5 I: z+ h
Reports to: National Sales Manager' \0 f, L. N1 I" W

9 d; \4 I$ Z! Q' tMajor Responsibilities: 8 i& \9 X# I; R9 N7 u8 j9 d% e% W
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
, U- y$ a* h$ t1 S9 L• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
+ B! v, a! @8 @. E• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
9 @! t q0 r/ J• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
5 c6 g, F) H5 _& A& c/ i2 m/ c• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.2 |2 C- l3 D$ [9 o4 C. y) _0 s' k
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
' m8 P g( @2 d$ I• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
2 P3 {! W" F/ i6 V- H• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
0 e# e: ~. j8 g- Q• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
8 A4 @7 c8 G) @9 R) e% `• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
0 Z6 P, ^* Z0 \+ q• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
# f" [) R% A2 W" |, K0 X• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
% T' F3 W. ^3 V; F' n• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:7 o* g9 s! b% J8 ^
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
+ n4 C& }3 \# u9 P- T0 D! _. z- ~• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 9 ]0 Z, ]1 ~$ b+ d9 H8 ^/ R
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. $ _2 @& A+ t5 P! ~( r
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. * j, [8 M5 a/ x K4 u6 d
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential& y, p' S. e+ _$ |8 r& N) B" h; v4 m
• Not scared of heights- X$ U: Z0 k% x# {
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
; s+ ` r0 [4 u6 ?, G9 c• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. - |% h, z) @5 K& b' m, s
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.( D1 M" Q ]' B$ f, N% x7 z& \
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
