Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant, P9 _9 T5 i6 `

9 d; \4 I$ Z! Q' tMajor Responsibilities: 8 i& \9 X# I; R9 N7 u8 j9 d% e% W
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
, U- y$ a* h$ t1 S9 L•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
+ B! v, a! @8 @. E•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
9 @! t  q0 r/ J•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
5 c6 g, F) H5 _& A& c/ i2 m/ c•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.2 |2 C- l3 D$ [9 o4 C. y) _0 s' k
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
' m8 P  g( @2 d$ I•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

0 e# e: ~. j8 g- Q•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

0 Z6 P, ^* Z0 \+ q•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
# f" [) R% A2 W" |, K0 X•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
% T' F3 W. ^3 V; F' n•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
+ n4 C& }3 \# u9 P- T0 D! _. z- ~•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 9 ]0 Z, ]1 ~$ b+ d9 H8 ^/ R
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. $ _2 @& A+ t5 P! ~( r
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. * j, [8 M5 a/ x  K4 u6 d
