Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

; Z7 Z& G: Y1 l0 d$ M& u/ ^# A$ vMajor Responsibilities:
/ {! R3 v4 [5 W' }; q5 `• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." N( J2 G z+ j) j& x9 _' M
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
% @; h6 i! D r1 Y6 G/ w• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 3 X( z) N- V3 X" I
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.' x% ^0 h+ e9 _: f6 h: x4 I( j
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
+ y* W6 o9 N5 k0 T$ h( d• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
) C0 h+ c/ d# y/ Y! u9 w• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
& ^' l. Y" n* n, \6 f• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.8 Q- c$ |. P3 }: m' i
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.8 q6 z4 F2 s: a- R' B
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
: t( W2 \. T2 k0 G: v' ]• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.9 e& T; {8 ?' C) `) x. f8 @
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
" @6 S7 j1 P: I7 D• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 0 U- V, z N+ M6 L" c: b
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. + p5 F J7 R/ G- h) [3 u. N
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

- ~1 e2 i' O" Y( d9 a• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
