Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

1 ~8 X; C. @- DMajor Responsibilities:
* M, S7 Q& {$ q# ]. ~* I• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.8 _5 O$ F# o# H! ^* u8 y2 K$ H
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
5 i" d0 W. G6 D7 ~5 c• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
+ ~6 W4 g# I* E3 |8 e {1 x• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.& n0 B' m$ o3 I. d. q# W3 B
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes." a' B- w% ^; D$ D6 d: u
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

S; c J# f2 S' \4 B5 Q• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
2 O3 s( o T: S; z0 P0 e• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
9 n5 b. Z$ Q5 v+ f• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
# z2 o1 d* h( Z2 x3 ?) D• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
" P( l& @* F6 \/ ~9 L9 j6 Z• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
