Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 22 M: K+ K' i+ {9 `5 b. _, D9 K
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

& W7 N! z! ]6 K2 D BMajor Responsibilities:
9 ?7 m4 {4 k( }4 _) J• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.- ^3 E7 P3 F q8 @, b
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.* Z- [* v2 ~; l1 \
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
* x8 J) P R/ G+ W• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.6 V9 ~5 G9 ?, m0 S' K b+ }. p* W
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
) _0 x+ G8 W( ]8 D" m• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
" C2 i" q3 H& ]4 E( ?6 s3 @• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.( B$ [% e- k/ L, M9 |$ b1 P
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., Q. I5 Z5 ?3 b- A
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
0 i! ?# ]+ h; o) Q* q! n4 i5 @• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.& m4 M4 m& P/ m4 `) q
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
8 @( c5 ]/ b! M1 e1 O• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
! e0 M ~0 h+ N5 i) t• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.' \. \( \& H+ n# B. X- G* [
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.* P" t' }7 ^% W5 N, p1 O7 \- i5 z5 p

Qualifications:- ~1 e. O& \8 |; Y* G' Y! g
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. & t# [; ?% _0 Y& ?
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. a. \! `% t# G: [
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
$ `% v- M: k6 E# n' j! e• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 6 a- C; \4 K/ q( I
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
! [7 @1 N% B/ I9 T8 P( y. X3 u" K) N• Not scared of heights
% Q* A# E. {+ ?. q0 C. L; w• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
" \" G( D: V4 l( T- f s: m• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 4 P( s5 G; N, K$ m
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.3 n4 {# p# J3 K0 F) o: b: x1 {: x0 w
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
