Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant& H6 D- V& m, s, \: |$ H6 ^, E0 K
Location: Edmonton

2 M# h+ I- E; L6 M8 dMajor Responsibilities:
; y; R6 {- I9 t" S• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations. k9 F) V- ~% a1 l; X% P; c
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 X- ~, P% m3 E: }5 y% [9 ]
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
+ L; T/ [' q4 r& T# w& t• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
: H5 D3 h/ {+ s- m) t" f+ N• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis. y, @7 o- o' f0 ~8 {$ z$ Y% x+ O
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
, K) h, z0 C8 B• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
- z# [( L3 g0 O( ?• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
3 p; Z" B+ k* L7 u• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.5 H* G8 }/ r) f/ V
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning., {4 k# _6 j) m! B2 o- f
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
" |+ v# y+ ?* q' ^* L* ?• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
9 j- R" V7 n4 @1 q; _• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

/ p. \" O& n4 u8 O/ kQualifications:- }5 O6 g# A1 C3 \+ z
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ' \8 K9 Z. F7 O" o2 ?2 ]
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 4 j1 \; L; t8 A& j+ ]" R. {9 Z
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
/ u9 R# @5 y* c+ Z, d+ R* J. j7 s J• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ' P9 `0 ?% u! B8 Q
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

& Y, M1 M0 r- G: S• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other0 w) ^- l8 p" y6 x0 h
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. L. K1 `/ }2 T# y/ b- Z A
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
