EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.
* u% o+ Y* x6 Z5 ^/ F0 {Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
$ j+ j# ]5 X& T( l* X+ O7 s- SOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.2 h9 t% t& Z: L: ]# q
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
