Enhanced Respite Program

The YWCA Edmonton Family Services program is/ K7 w0 q( h; ~
recruiting for community support workers in the- Z3 [8 Z' t* W. r, S
Coordinated Enhanced Respite program at a variety of
6 b2 S8 A: E' V9 zlocations in the city.
% w0 ^- _2 P5 L" i2 z# tStaff would provide respite care to parents or primary* W- K) ?! b5 h- }
care givers of children with moderate to severe physical
; j+ l, Z3 L5 M4 _or cognitive developmental disabilities for shifts of three
- R* g$ o# _* |(3) or more hours per day worked. During the school |- W' S- G" [% |: n4 E
year, as the children are in school during the day, the
6 C- l6 X! J6 ubulk of the hours available will be late afternoons and
/ {; r8 z Z+ A( D' u" oevenings or on weekends.% n0 L9 ?5 n0 f1 T, A$ r
However, during the summer months, there will be

children are out of school.

Qualifications:

• the ability to support the clients with all aspects& t* r0 N) a5 P9 n

• Standard First Aide with Level C CPR
