Full Time Position: (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities; W9 F) K! h' y1 f. s9 t1 J
o Accountable for Towards A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
& n% h, U# V1 o( qo Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
3 b8 @2 B v, x6 E% qo Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
5 e7 p- y- e3 X1 ]6 [o Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
! x9 m2 }7 _! _# |o Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
0 L( c5 k) F7 w3 [$ d( Eo Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising' a/ l0 G' Q2 J" Y3 a5 u
o Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model( Y2 p5 D0 W' _* {3 x
o Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre& {7 d4 t4 _+ o0 P, c' F/ O1 V, L0 }
o Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
) F/ ?0 ? V3 {3 Ho Be open and willing to explore new ideas
! }& }4 h( l: Go Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends4 g. a# I2 r8 y8 U+ P3 f
o Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor9 @) f V( \9 }& B
2 A% f& e/ J, P0 }& gQualifications2 h8 @' z f: B( `. s
o Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience; R0 A) {4 P' F2 y) v
o Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset: S7 g4 V( i3 A
o Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
\- N; [& N7 h) K) a! Zo Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
" S8 b" l( o( F9 H- [( s' `o Willingness to learn; F: A2 Q, |( N+ A2 z
