Position: Youth Services Coordinator
; k; D, l$ q3 H9 V( eFull Time Position: (35 hours per week)

6 O% R3 J  k1 s8 QResponsibilities
o        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
o        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
o        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
. V$ A, t- l4 d  w0 L& e' ao        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
o        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
o        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
3 F8 A! ~5 S- V& B' mo        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
9 r% M% h2 y8 w; e& Z3 Yo        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
2 t6 {2 \4 X% ^0 w, G& u4 mo        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
5 i) S7 s; `0 e8 H( B4 No        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
o        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
  h# Z. N/ t+ M" P: y/ r9 E7 No        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
o        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o        Willingness to learn

  N1 C# v+ u, J4 ao        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
