PURPOSE:

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of. A u5 T, d0 t& S4 z/ J& e
furniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to$ I3 t/ L, m- Q( z, l

2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,' b( m' @4 g9 j( G
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built2 i! d$ E' y8 D" s
drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
- d5 h: {9 Y7 D% {specification and installation.
9 {; Z2 t. `! R0 _6 ~( i3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning6 n7 Y/ `) {4 W! d
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these7 Q: I% N! }& I8 R

4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
8 z% J! N2 L! ?* Vroutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
; M: g# R) m3 j G1 t0 c h5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction
7 U; h# Y `& H; R4 z7 H \plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job$ ^3 b$ d" {: A) ]1 i. v
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence0 W$ ~' U( G) ?, O2 K4 l8 |& ?' {
checks.

7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,
- t3 B/ U2 A S" b2 f7 tassures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes

inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.
h2 _: y# _( G8 {" E" Q9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.
' p* E) _# c: S& t) D10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

0 T( K% J( T- _) L+ s$ S+ y" e. MBachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a
- ~7 L1 \, n( t- ?7 o) b" u4 xrelated field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
! L9 ~: M/ z. S; @1 J. t1 S! Bexperience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general5 W+ N4 M1 d- \* f# w
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
