Tent event moves Edmonton's job market into the great outdoors
% G# H$ G D- d+ W7 Z% c: aJob hunting and staff recruiting become fun outdoor activities on June 12 {$ d9 Z7 q% E* M& J
, i9 O) p# C. H$ M7 h& IEdmonton... Edmontonians looking for a job, considering a career change, or struggling to find qualified staff are invited to drop by the Alberta Employment and Immigration Tent Event on Thursday, June 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tents will be set up at the Alberta Service Centre located at 6325 Gateway Boulevard.

Visitors will be treated to a free barbecue lunch plus an outdoor mini job fair, career services expo, contests and prizes, and a charity dunk tank in support of Habitat for Humanity.6 l/ v# Q% ]& e8 n* c
" G3 ]0 v) P7 C) C- P, Y2 f; ?7 xA number of local employers will be recruiting staff onsite, including: Alberta Motor Association, Beretta Protective K-9 Services, International Compass Group, Mark’s Work Warehouse, McKesson Pharmaceutical, and Parkland Class.
