Duties
Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
4 ~0 h5 k2 i: y# LWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
6 ]8 x) w) s6 ^; L5 _: A* oEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
% \+ l/ @' H6 \- V& l+ J4 t  TDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
4 I. m6 I+ p# a9 XTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
4 E" O# _: g) b: ZRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
