Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
" ?- F$ ~6 G: R& m7 QProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
* ?. }7 ~( c" t0 i- H. IEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
/ {9 n# Y2 b9 r) rDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
& V  U$ w) [& i0 b% HDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
1 R- L6 d& a/ z% }6 S/ PMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
& p, h8 {& [: z6 E/ j/ D  T. kExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
