Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers

Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff

Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program& R! t' p2 E( R& Q
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
$ F7 ?6 {6 h( f5 W* w9 [7 iMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations; W; G D" |; t. Q4 t! k) e
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)% F. Q1 U- y+ J! t B5 W
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills `4 L0 d( v! @2 w
