Job Description

- post secondary diploma / V7 z. R6 I+ C8 j4 d6 E6 n

Job Description
- w- a( ]* f/ P; K- z0 H5 s% }' Q# q- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
( }1 I7 a" m* Z, I [- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
. \% A% i3 x% {+ U3 I% I- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services2 P* L+ o! ]0 ]- U. ^
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies" l: B8 ?- J0 f4 z X
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
( \3 ^0 B% _; \ y6 M! n( d1 g- update ASSIST website
& O2 {' j( Q4 s/ U1 R$ ^- M4 i% `- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre8 a" u8 F+ Y% J9 n1 ]: h
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services3 E5 R- O% ]- w! l1 N/ J
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
- S i; m2 z2 h2 m+ O# b$ H: K- write quarterly and final reports for ISP& I& P& M: T" Q$ v6 e: f; g$ j
- hold regular meetings with ISP team

- update membership database

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
: t; g$ S: d/ H) g- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
' v5 P8 p' C- \9 k4 }0 x9 y) j- experience in community work and immigrant services P- R( l+ X9 E8 P3 [
