- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team1 T- r/ ?, ~6 L

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
' l' r$ f8 A6 M5 W' x8 Q- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
g8 ~+ d% S4 ]. |6 f) _- A- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies; E5 `; _5 d; c
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members6 V" Z1 J- A& C$ H- j4 D
- update ASSIST website
% d/ d- v$ b s+ j2 p& U8 T5 G- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre, u+ h+ _7 L0 n7 V8 n0 I2 `
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services& r2 @ y$ a& O: @' l
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
7 X; ^" M2 o) l; j- write quarterly and final reports for ISP
& `6 D% @3 g/ [- hold regular meetings with ISP team
2 C2 F% ` A6 S% K u- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)3 a7 r( P) u/ h/ }
4 q8 _0 s. L2 LQualifications
7 a& F' w7 ]$ [8 w- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
( F) h% a+ Z; o& \- o' L' }6 A- good oral and written Chinese and English skills0 n4 e( G: x) m: [
- experience in community work and immigrant services' X, G) d6 Y S, R6 h' x( g
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
