时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。1 N" I7 e1 F* |. ~ H

9 r! N8 j. e7 j! M% Y+ ~3 C0 cThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
! Q6 |# p6 M% obecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them. x; m; q, E5 a- B) i9 W+ |0 u9 _* S& T
7 {4 A3 M4 O2 I' C+ R: {Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials* V3 }1 w. ?; {. w
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different* t, v j$ j: {4 C& n6 X+ s$ }
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
