If the engine oil is frozen, what we can do? Can Block Heater works?

I think the engine oil in my car is frozen. I try to boost it with another car and it 's still not working.

Anyone can give me some suggestions?

我觉得block heater是管打火的，跟机油没关系。
" ~; S% f  O5 D. d6 G0 \% h3 X* t; V6 `! \我的车子前天早上打着火后，机油灯一直亮着。

there are a few kinds of BH that help cars start from extreme cold weather,
" g5 O: H% `" J% T, Lbasically ,  BH keep the car warm by heating up the oil pan-which keeps the engine oil from frozen, or by heating up the coolant, and keep the engine block warm.
Either way, the engine shall not be frozen with use of BH.

If you do not have BH on ur car, by using synthetic oil you can also prevent oil frozen from happening.
) T; l# V0 Z- `1 YA good synthetic oil, 5w20 or 5w 30 , or 3w 20 has a pure point of -30 to -40 degrees.

Tow your car to somewhere warm and try to start after a while in warm place, or wait till the weather becomes warmer.

do you think using a hair dryer may help to warm up a car a little bit?

插电加热3小时，一般可以打着车。如果不行，可能电池电量不行了，应该用别的车BOOST。

& x  B8 F. ]$ b! {BLOCK HEATER是通过加热发动机内的冷却液间接加热ENGINE OIL，降低油的粘度；同时使汽油的可燃性提高。
+ x& q# N9 X  y; f1 Q+ M3 t
不行用表量量BLOCK HEATER的电阻，应该是50欧姆左右。
