Position: Resource Coordinator / Terms: Full-time / Salary range: $34,000 to $40,000 annually, based on qualifications + plus an excellent benefits package. Closing Date: February 6, 2008.

6 j1 m' R& x- h1 q! A: mContext: The Edmonton Social Planning Council is a not for profit organization that provides leadership to the community and its organizations in addressing social issues and effecting changes to social policy. `1 a! e8 t7 `6 X
* w- B& \ T! \! B9 P0 d4 wThis position is responsible for: managing/promotion the ESPC Resource Library (including compiling & purchasing resources, retrieving/analyzing reference materials, promoting library materials & services, etc.); consulting with community partners about their social research priorities and needs (helping to inform the creation of new research partnerships and projects).

# u/ s3 D2 R0 w( s: ]% Y# B: WPLUS: assisting with ongoing research projects (in particular, data and information retrieval and analysis, and report preparation) and various other responsibilities including, but not limited to, assisting in website maintenance.

# j( \+ T N; F) p, z4 @# G ~The successful applicant will: hold a post secondary degree (or related experience) in the social sciences or a related field; have research & analytical skills/experience; possess excellent written/verbal communication skills; be well organized & have confident computer skills.
