我不同意，我觉得vulnerable虽然在身体上和精神上都可以，但是是说容易受攻击被伤害。比如一个母亲带着孩子上街遇到坏人，这个母亲就很vulnerable, 但是母亲本身在精神上可能很坚强。而脆弱是说一个精神上很不坚强，还是fragile最好。

'fragile' means:

2. not secure: unlikely to withstand any severe stresses and strains

  B6 H3 K6 S8 ]2 ISo when we say someone is fragile, it most likely than not means this person is not physically strong, very close to delicate. But I heard some people use it for the meaning you mentioned, but on kids. Therefore, personally I will still choose 'vunerable' and yes, it refers to both but both fit.

vulnerable身体上：母亲带着孩子，遇上坏人的时候，母亲比较vulnerable

我再举例：

感觉WEAK更恰当些，不过太过伤人家自尊了点儿。WEAK是指心理深受力太弱了和扶不上墙的那种，自制力又差，总之大贬词一个。

哈哈，我不是要说同事啊，我是想用来描写某人。他吧，举个例子吧，比如洗牙之后，哎呦哎呦的，连饭都不能吃了。其实疼不疼呢，是有一点疼，能不能吃饭呢，肯定可以吃。不过就是自己娇自己，fragile可不可以当“娇性”（东北话）或者“娇气“来讲？

In oral English, "weak, not strong enough, not that strong" may be better. "Weak and strong" can be used in mentally and physically at the same time.Usually, "fragile' means so easy to be hurted and it can be unhealthy as well.
