Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individuals to fill the following two positions:' U6 g9 Q3 V$ O

Position Title: Outreach Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)! z# E4 d: t/ a+ V

Job Description5 a& ?7 v# O0 `. Y
- promote ISP and other programs and services to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
- g7 o, c z; q9 r* K- contact with various media: i.e. newspaper, radio, website and newsletter etc.# k+ Q! W* c' L7 k" B
- update and develop brochures, pamphlets, information packages and newsletter etc.8 b2 I6 Y/ N' k* g) ] y
- promote, organize and coordinate activities for Newcomers Club as well as recruit and maintain new members for the Club.
- V- G3 K) Y) Z7 i8 I- W! ^0 F- ISP report writing, data collection, evaluations conduct and budget management.( ?4 q! ~2 A" ?) I& X
- assist with volunteer recruitment and other business and services as needed and assigned.9 d/ ~8 o2 ~, ^! r
& S4 a- w) j" g: C) V
Qualifications:
- T: j, T2 p4 g, P* K5 e- post-secondary degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline) y9 f6 d! W% r$ f5 [7 E" A0 I0 p
- relevant experience with community work' Y! `' j( Y' m; N0 U6 T. h
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
- o$ Q& T; A9 f( D1 e# R9 H: Q- l9 o4 L" }" ~
Position Title: Receptionist/Immigration Services Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)
+ \( z/ A' ^7 `% W. q. w, p前台/移民服務員: s- T' ~) ]5 S
Job Description/ X9 I. m/ S& ^0 t- D
- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
8 m6 X0 s8 I' h' ~% R. D; F- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
; }8 U, d: ^! z" A, |- report to the program manager and provide clerical support to all members of the ISP team
5 k; \+ C7 J3 _# g3 z% p6 @5 j6 ?$ a0 Q/ P
Qualifications:
! e! S; Z; N. p, c4 D; `$ L2 t) G- post secondary diploma
4 H7 f& y( u1 B4 P- customer service and office clerical experiences' T2 F3 d4 |' N( ]
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset Z6 G/ X7 p7 V+ e
