Biotech Technologist Position Available

8 \7 Z5 E* f' R! ]. F2 A5 ?( R6 @- IPosition Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Skills and Abilities Required
+ Q% }9 g* z0 C- F5 gExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment., c: N. Z+ m9 T$ z3 O: H4 o
$ Z# C( ?" V: i1 Z: j$ J3 w9 O
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

: P/ s& Q7 L% ?% [" R$ CHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.# m% S# w3 ^" `5 ]7 j; o

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.

Bachelor or Master degree in cell biology, biochemistry or other related areas.
