Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

( ?* q, ]2 L# U& T* f! NSkills and Abilities Required
Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

& w& L) m0 w2 y4 W  v/ [3 [Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.
+ z5 e% R' S! h) a9 o! K0 Q, H* Y
; P9 @/ o' S! b# r: eHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

/ }" i- _' r5 zAbility to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in cell biology, biochemistry or other related areas.
