烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter 7 \* g: Y5 w/ g: E0 \4 {$ Q2 h
• 1 cup sugar % ]0 J7 p( ]& e5 c Q
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
7 i8 F7 u$ e; b) |• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
0 a$ B7 G3 I/ h9 g3 T( x: Y• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

PREPARATION:
% k6 Z5 j- y1 @Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
+ O) j9 ^2 C2 \/ u" ~, PTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. / y9 X, o7 i9 x. X. J
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
