烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter

2 {9 b& U- j) V( L. v• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
/ L, ~/ [, \- l5 A: v; }( G1 Q• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)

• 4 eggs, well beaten( N/ u; D/ h, V0 w

. E2 s- Y. V- d3 NBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.

Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered., B- J3 d) c$ B! Y9 p6 Q5 `
7 }6 S, K) r' I) h: Z" ^这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
h1 `0 X* Y& H: W- C, \8 @beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
