Programs/Services
" s n& Q4 `2 h" P( {• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services
) o( B9 w- k/ W- v9 w* Z1 V! X• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities
+ r. o Z- ?2 C8 P- ^7 r• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends2 y* K9 X* Z8 L+ V
• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends# M2 p5 y! e! ~8 y* J! t1 p0 |
• conduct program evaluation/survey/research

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities* b5 {- B" W+ @# D; ]
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
" @( M) M/ M8 r, Y4 @3 y• communicate the value of the organization to the public
* ]" ]% f! I* X$ c# _• identify community needs and trends+ g- ?6 J$ u3 C. f* m
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
% S, n6 S: J# A/ @* T• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups/ A- P h6 E6 Y
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.. h( H$ l# o7 W/ N& o" O! X, ~
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff4 U/ W5 y I; r9 r
+ F+ R) i0 |3 T- p+ r9 zQualifications
4 j7 F+ n& P5 E6 d3 _# N( b- University degree in a related field; ) ~ _( t' C& L& \! X9 L! p
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;' c6 Y) }9 f- S2 \6 t8 x* h) @+ d3 _$ A
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
- Y3 `& o7 q- y- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
