• responsible for recruitment, selection, training and performance appraisal and termination of staff

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services/ _$ s! k* h$ \6 y" L& r6 L
• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities( U. W9 r# _* |( F, V
• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders! B" A( {0 p: `
• set program priorities and directions ; w' C% ?6 |' ]( ^
• identify community and user needs and trends
- ?1 L, u- f) h0 f, k7 C9 ]• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends6 b: t5 h, b9 Z1 q
• conduct program evaluation/survey/research

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• identify community needs and trends
" G. m( c6 @( P• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
1 K- V/ T) `. z* m4 s' G0 M• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups1 Q& t' R. |. D
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

- University degree in a related field;
! _7 M+ N3 O8 m$ l! [5 h- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;& ]/ v! O9 g8 l0 p5 D; [
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
. ~+ v* h/ o" c( ]* P. F- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization # r9 z' Q. |4 d" P4 d

Salary
, y! T! J. I, \: U' u! A- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
