JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

% O- D% a* r0 J2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

, H( V- L7 v; @& {# ^1 e4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

) `6 K$ r/ O) t" T, w  p1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

( l" L7 G5 B7 ^% C  H. o3 b  i# f3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

8 ]6 |( y. h5 `  g, U% Q) `5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
