Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

4 u; T( Q  z; u& kMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

/ q; r% c# q7 L1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?
