Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

$ r" `) Y5 Q- P% A# K. PMy mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

* z3 d# Y/ b- q" C3 O1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?
