I sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply: : i6 q. i- ]& R/ Z% `! H# \. s4 f" ~1 ?& c% u
"We have requested background information from other government/ \) p' l8 ?* U& N+ _" D
offices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing' U& }1 E! X ~2 W4 h }3 j$ t5 Z
of your application will be complete. We cannot respond to requests for, T. m9 N( b; r5 O# u* x, g
the status of your application before this information is received." ( M) w! d! }0 B1 z) @6 y2 L b8 G0 `: h; |+ ~' o
Does this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!
