2 Permanent Positions (1 Full-Time/1 Part-Time)

Your main responsibility will be to operate a cube van, maintain, repair and clean residential recycling depots in the City of Grande Prairie.

The duties include:
operate cube van                                /maintain, repair and clean recycling depots
litter pick-up                                      /snow removal
assist customers with their recycling and directing them to the proper bin location for disposal
3 ~" b+ {/ G( p, s9 B9 X( Qbe available to work weekends           /assist in other areas of Eco Centre operations as required

6 s' J& }2 I: u& oSkills and abilities required for this position include:
( k; }+ l3 n9 W! i$ d2 {  ?* igood physical condition                   /have a valid Alberta class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract
0 I' ]( S4 u4 O/ rknowledge of recycling and disposal options in Grande Prairie /certifications or the ability to attain, WHMIS and First Aid
ability to work effectively as part of a team     /have excellent customer service skills, enjoy interacting with customers; front-line customer contact is essential to the operation
a keen interest to contribute to a safe work environment

The current rate of pay is in accordance with the current C.U.P.E. collective agreement.
