An Alberta woman has been charged with stealing thousands of dollars from a small town in Saskatchewan.

3 m" |' F3 w6 U5 z  S6 S6 LAccording to the RCMP, the 26-year-old woman from Strathmore, Alta., faces 12 charges including fraud, theft and false pretences.

' M( j- C' y7 a0 I# y4 m# N1 C9 OThe RCMP began investigating following a complaint that money was missing from the town of Kyle.

It was learned that about $18,000 was missing, the RCMP said.

Police said they won't release her name until she makes her first court appearance.
