, ~" s% I+ B6 NJOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
$ E7 ~4 V. Y' K# | DSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
' s7 g5 ?. y3 I) vSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects & U' k F! ?& I6 x$ x* X- k
of Course Pack production.

+ u2 D$ q S8 I# y. ^$ GDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
/ |, f2 P2 }' W% k) e* n& \1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning % s, @, @' k9 N2 v0 Q% ^1 m6 a
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
5 J4 a# c3 M4 B& L) I8 w/ h2 S# _. `* n' G; u% E
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including $ e2 j# ?/ \' |3 y0 W
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
) O/ B$ d- Q9 m/ ?9 D, B3 l- S1 ^( d3 K- B1 Y! T
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of - z# M, E5 a2 J, L0 k
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and 9 N; H- O( G4 H! s' v
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
8 j2 n: Y* h) o* c8 Qfailures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 2 q5 @0 [# N! l# w; s
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.7 A) o" v. P( P& |+ M1 e7 e

7) To perform other job related duties as necessary.

3 N c( y7 {% C, D1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
& E# [% ~, W ~$ O; D2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication

) _; F9 X3 `: o9 \/ J' ~3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful. s4 y* `2 e9 G/ r y
. w( ?+ d1 C- K$ P; o$ k4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.- a @+ I5 x: x6 d* y2 Q5 O9 Z% l1 C
