EDMONTON - The Southgate Transit Centre is moving to a temporary location on Sunday to allow for construction of an LRT station.

Starting July 1 and for the next year, the transit centre will be north of 51st Avenue on 111th Street. The temporary centre will have two large heated shelters plus other shelters, pay phones and security cameras.) ]0 B2 z; G# \6 k! ^

The city is extending the Light Rail Transit line down to the Century Park development on 23rd Avenue. The new line is expected to open in 2010.
