Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
% e0 B8 R' h) K, D( T# {0 Gprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.- u E7 z" \# @5 e
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
) m) u+ ]$ c3 |artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
8 e" `) m$ ~( u, pEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
7 W! O3 I; X4 i+ |' N3 H! Gvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the D1 {: c% X" O( [+ R7 c% O
recyclables., b' P7 b5 _: L% c O2 ^% t( _9 Y$ h
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
, Q8 z1 h/ l2 v8 ^2 m5 |part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening." ~7 ^3 ^# l- \$ h8 F! u) w
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
1 M4 g3 C7 g: x' ^7 G! h* R4 _them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
; L q- k" F- k# Y! b0 @* d$ Z uhours are part of this crew’s duties.
9 s$ d$ \ K7 L! s) Y6 ^Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the7 m4 M; G6 q! T; N
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide( o1 a1 m# ?* J+ X
programs to visitors to the festival.
" ~# k ~) t* S+ D5 \6 H! aKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for6 d! R# \" l' c: y9 d# Q
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
4 [1 X! }& B3 H/ qOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
7 ?$ H0 z `9 f3 ]* w% M2 G$ Cevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the% e& ]# W- k$ @3 Y1 G0 H5 _* p; }) ?
festival.
8 [/ J: o1 T' [Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is* B$ _ o. ?3 E6 M6 J
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you2 T5 u( C6 @4 `& q
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
: Q# I7 C( t$ z$ v2 ?5 p9 ?2 @6 wStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
; f f3 }: \# T+ Dand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
B6 k; K ^7 i1 q& rTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
" D& |; {+ z3 L# q! _" x4 u" r7 Drequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as, }. f3 J) Q. n9 y$ Q) I5 |
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival0 k6 u9 @; p) j4 H" V0 X
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
