Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and

prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up., p1 o- E5 |' u. [9 X& r+ z1 P
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the8 ~* b3 w& P: j: }4 J( r- k- T6 U
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
( ]% M/ s, w: M" o+ |) Z8 iEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for4 g( C$ {+ G% O s
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the% k6 P# A' ?2 ?" p' Y# o
recyclables.* H) E# @. ]9 t# ]/ n" @
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be/ J& E6 x. o9 I
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.3 P3 b4 D) Q6 k2 {4 I
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing }( A4 F, ~" n& t% j; C, ?, J
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late0 j* ~8 O. t6 p" |/ M
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
. s3 ^4 M/ A, \4 r5 FInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
9 N% b5 Y/ Z/ ?9 P h! @1 J/ g" s& }festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
0 q: D* [+ ^2 y7 _( R' n6 eprograms to visitors to the festival.
: k% c% C& M Q0 n7 k" hKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
: J7 G. C2 O# g( y0 k% r" p @3 Ceveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
4 ?: I5 _1 [6 [8 jOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed8 N* T+ `9 {8 _7 R1 g
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the7 ^" M) w5 [$ p- p3 T; W

Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is2 r. R. ~9 i: V- m# p5 ^' ]& @
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
0 B% C6 V _$ L2 s( [are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
) C" P, d* M. c+ \5 x& EStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
+ i0 S/ S6 l1 T) J4 y9 {and/or understanding of back stage procedures." U; ^( X6 p( f7 Q5 }0 V5 W
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
2 ^* ~ ?% x* A R$ w7 yrequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as5 O+ Y# e) b0 K2 g2 V4 e# e
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
# x- _9 E0 f6 w& N' P% T3 G+ Sstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
