followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

tickets for each school; please select 2 students from your school to

The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at

theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

) f* W* K6 U2 d" \; [8 vinstructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
; T1 ^" N, y, Z  @' W$ a/ j' B& |/ jAchievements
  M) V" M6 x( M3 Uin Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
+ p+ J) r2 P- V+ l- X3 yfew
songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to

crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
