JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

! ^0 d* [2 \6 m4 f* NDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
+ s- b& W+ V+ v. G4 w" T: {9 v
0 X+ M. r8 c& N1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.
: ]1 q6 j- J3 X5 ?: a1 H( G
2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.
8 F2 b7 N" ~+ r2 D  ?2 h4 E2 w
3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
0 c: t( D% m  z( t) }8 FCapital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.

: l5 @" b; M$ A' |3 A4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
. Y) U6 Y( ~+ F/ \7 q, Qdeliveries.

2 o7 o) o7 o# i& b, A) ^* n5) Assist with monthly food inventory.

6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
) w1 b9 E5 e5 M) sshifts within Powerplant operating hours.

7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
, E* u4 [( o6 YManager.

% L% a8 @6 y+ j) e3 dQUALIFICATIONS;

1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.
# r1 \. Q4 U5 n  X% c
2) Previous experience with food inventories.

4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

! @" a/ z9 s9 W- A- g' B5) Good public and staff relations.

August 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks
