JOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to and under the supervision of the Senior  
# G- Y# j3 A* B  I) p/ o2 j1 OOperations Manager-Retail and the Operations Manager-Retail, the  
fulltime Operating Assistant-SUBtitles is responsible for the  
effective operation of SUBtitles in the absence of the manager(s).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. {$ y# x7 |1 u$ H7 ?# W1)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
1 v9 R1 d5 W$ y4 D' C' G# ^Retail in the training of part time staff

, |7 i9 ^7 u$ {! p9 }2)             Responsible for supervising part time staff and  
ensuring that staff are fulfilling job requirements
1 d/ H5 D$ n- @- a7 s. r
3)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail with cashing out and ensuring that floats are secured

" G" n9 D0 m7 W8 v4)             Capable and willing to work in all areas while working  
- l% E" W7 }! ^! ^) ^4 A! xvarious shifts as per store hours
/ h  a! a' h  A4 }& l4 T" i$ {- U
0 a8 {4 }% v( C& Y4 \, @5)             Responsible for determining needs and finalizing  
7 o" R" _6 ]3 jorders for external custom order clients

" H6 Y  y3 U7 B. z9 w6)             Responsible for the accuracy of month end inventory  
counts

7)             Provide a high level of customer service

8)             Responsible for ensuring that databases are kept up to  
, j+ q0 v( r2 v' qdate with regards to consignment data

, A) T6 e: Q3 l- m- L# l0 T# q9)             Perform other job related duties, in SUBtitles and  
SUBmart, as required by the Senior Operations Manager-Retail and the  
Operations Manager-Retail

. O4 {+ ~7 Y+ X4 }0 ]2 JQUALIFICATIONS;
1)             Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent

, w8 V8 E+ n2 j$ k. l, _0 N) a2)             Post secondary education would be an asset
2 S% p* A) D" j& S, h
" D3 Y: j' n( y  W' F# x3)             Previous supervisory experience would be an asset
3 v- D2 \4 T0 A% @
4 `0 _' p0 \% W+ ?4)             Strong organizational skills
9 u9 H8 Z. s4 ^" S" G
5)             High level of creativity, initiative and attention to  
( N9 Z3 ~- R$ V+ n- J% w& `1 ddetail

6)             Knowledge of computer operations

3 N. D% @/ O: H0 H1 a7)             Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a  
! [. R& u  K9 _  Y9 v7 ^2 Vvariety of areas

- Q# ^& X" K  S6 I8)             Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and  
the general public

Salary:            $1864/month - under negotiation
Shift:            Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
