JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Returning Officer reports to the President of , h8 L, C( \$ z

2000. The Chief Returning Officer shall be recommended to Students'

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) To run the elections as per Bylaws 2000

2) To run referenda/plebiscites as per Bylaw 2000.

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.' a9 f9 m+ o; m& r* z0 s4 ~$ L

adequate poll staff and situating polls at appropriate locations

6) To report the result of an election/referendum to the appropriate

To enforce budgetary regulations as stipulated in the Elections

10) To be available to all parties during elections/referenda for a " {8 b; C8 n' D' |8 v8 W9 ]8 R. Z) m# e
minimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday,

of voting. These hours are to be posted in advance.

( B' M+ z0 |/ S4 B ]$ ~% Cfor each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students' 9 o3 c2 A3 Y4 Q

2) Must have some experience in student elections./ D2 H; k [8 l. S2 l3 B- X2 E

any of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position
