DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT

( S' `% f1 v: B9 S3 S/ UDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
9 V6 v+ u7 Q. W2 H1 s1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
) _$ J( D* x& @and are University affiliated.
! V  T. V: M) T/ V
* O6 B  M% C9 S2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
, r& w& r7 D5 R+ Z
. q4 E5 a( X; q6 ^3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
5 f4 [: c8 v0 B6 Y/ Hconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5 d" w( z# V. l( Y' q5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

3 F+ P6 i! L2 D1 q6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

" G% {" G2 @% L- v# Z2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
5 [+ Y7 R9 F& P. ccalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
