JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
/ A6 U0 d* w6 `7 N0 w(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
! o' c* u7 d3 b. y, qpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
; y! s& N5 J4 A& H
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
' e$ {2 L0 L# ]" u7 V# F/ D
$ A/ {& Y/ }" L9 ?' o6 m3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

  C% V( c$ k- F1 |- r$ R* O5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
+ q9 S: @$ Z" L3 Iarea when required.

1 \( p5 b0 F8 G$ l5 J6 `$ I% a6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
, {2 _" g! D2 }& c1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
, [7 l8 U% b7 s5 M0 s4 |) h1 F
* g3 k% k0 s# V; c! t! L2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
8 l* K; t  n1 ?calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

5 Q: j6 {5 S4 C  J3 x# {( V3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
