1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. . k$ Z, v8 P- g
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
% m* k _/ A& C8 l3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms. / M! g+ ^: }: o$ U o4 B

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
( E- v( n/ o9 _$ P
; l6 F- D; }, H1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
3 R* F; L- z: _' L9 [2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred." v( }, O( U' w- q& u
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
( S$ l6 x. I* q7 {4 A( h5 M4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous., L/ I" j% S6 r Y; ^
5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
& b4 e$ _* U0 z6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
