ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. The CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.

Education Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.) p5 W4 s5 b/ `2 G2 D+ [) B6 u/ B

Qualifications:
) A. G" j0 X% c, w1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.
7 h" V B1 {% x' P3 q' P2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
3 e1 }0 f' d# ~3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
