Bartender and Operations Manager, the Server is responsible for

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
3 Y. p/ s' T; ~5 a/ D4 ]1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage p& \+ n" w! ]' s) d0 o
orders.( t0 Y$ m* b# c8 s# N3 o2 K2 |9 z; p5 q
% H+ D+ F# z% i2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a
% s0 ^- L7 v' R8 E) Hhigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in - f3 @/ r- Z, x, S
accordance with Students' Union policies.

" q" u5 E7 Z2 _3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the
; e I$ D8 l7 j; ~4 X3 P. x# g8 btotal cash-out value of items sold on each shift.7 n- r0 z( Y7 K5 {

4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness, ; Z+ d4 O. Y" {- T& @
including regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal
' @8 U" u+ N! R& p/ iand ensuring floor surface cleanliness.

& f6 N9 `$ @0 O5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate : }* F. d, m/ a0 G, n9 J1 c \
action when necessary in accordance with established Server
0 N/ W$ n. e: R4 V+ I, a' wintervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.& h+ v1 j1 e# s% F% ~/ _! }1 e5 }
6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health
) K7 B1 s# E; Z" }9 gAuthority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.$ E4 }* d0 ~; h4 i. }$ F

7) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
: j2 L4 N, M# w1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.* Z* u/ e/ h0 f: {- p
/ Y3 L+ f+ n1 S* w2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based " c3 w' t7 n/ F3 L
operation.
& }- ?5 F* G$ q/ b+ B$ {" @# {9 E; p5 h5 V2 r- h R
3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union
' x5 z; H7 R! y8 p' x. f. @policy.! T! }2 Q" u+ F8 U7 q& P

4) Experience operating an Interac terminal and processing charge 3 N. z( u" D |. N$ L
card transactions.
