Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
O# K6 o* \) Y! KCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus: [( K+ I* I7 \- r! V: R
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
0 }4 C6 L9 e6 J# c8 o G) jetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
& `& |0 k, W' S; Aparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
% n2 S; S4 M5 y& ?3 n! }4 p# j6 l4 Btheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
3 P1 L0 c# I' i! J/ m, ] Q- D# Ctheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,8 l% s) j- s/ P
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
+ I+ R: X/ _9 U4 bvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
7 {, ^: p8 F/ u _outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city9 p+ }( w9 }" l! {
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
, P! D9 q+ g0 ]$ N, `excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint% O3 U' [8 _5 T$ u& u$ ~% y
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
; h0 E% ]% R0 ?: [6 e0 ^Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate( I, M" N, d$ Y m* |
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,8 L6 _% Y0 Q1 g; u+ k [, k( T
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
% }% [7 w9 s2 v ~a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those5 ~1 J) q* T* N1 C9 D( L2 X" g0 _
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
$ n# o* c) M H; h( ]6 {4 pskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
( E8 u% b* ^; g3 A: ^Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,! }" O9 _; ?# F( |/ B4 U8 J
