- i2 V9 _7 E" N6 h" t# L, |' q5 QSalary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
pay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
1 l3 z: \5 I. V6 a+ Z. E9 p+ d  k5 |the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
7 y2 a' n# F0 n) Aschool year starts.

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
% B  W2 k- A; V1 xCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
8 V7 T" o, L* ]4 G, Ietc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
. `( j# ?3 n  @) q- I0 M3 E, K" mparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
: w5 t, `9 i2 gtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
" }+ R* A+ k' b" C9 u4 `  j% Q7 X+ Massisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
3 u& q% l5 T" _6 r7 H; d% \outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
: p; ~  B# k5 L" tfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

% d) i. U+ B. O! }: M! ?Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
9 c% e' I% p" V* \  l4 a  CCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
7 J. a9 S  t/ o- P- e7 w* iskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
) M& b) `; D: Z; w3 `: [Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
' S* q6 |0 z+ w* x, ]experience coordinating group activities an asset.
