Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
. d+ D6 ~$ b# n+ @8 B: Z1 {. DCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
5 |0 ]* L2 @5 M, _venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
& j5 ]0 ^7 K5 F, V/ Wetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for# A8 B8 {+ `6 M; ^% d5 _; R
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
7 X# I- m, i# Z+ K. g- W# s# F' xtheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during* c9 T/ d4 R3 r3 M; M; t
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,( O* `( {0 ?) P7 v0 D7 K
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
/ d2 O7 c( `6 F C7 Cvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
# |9 m$ \% E& H! H" o& routings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in- R c9 o+ r) A0 Y. A0 U8 M- b
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
/ Q. c8 t& _- G) y S/ \fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,9 J h" t$ @2 N% V
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
- W5 ?. ~6 r: Y* n$ r/ {1 ia variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
* l: b8 e! ^% U0 G; Vof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
" v1 T+ D/ M# d+ Qskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,7 p8 U4 I5 q" z' E# o
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
