' j. @+ y. }" _2 hthe student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the

: Z4 K8 @+ X4 Z" W" h/ V- U' sCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus- S6 h% Y, ~0 |1 K
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
2 r2 s2 g. d* g: M) ~+ M3 cetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for) D0 |: ]3 a0 {$ b. w h
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
. U8 [2 T s" W$ v! xtheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during; p9 C& b; N# _( r1 j% s) @
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
9 ^/ k2 d* o4 y: `) U; O% d1 ~* \assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
9 K; e9 B$ k: \$ t! [* ?venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city! k% z$ o$ C" l5 d" L
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
: P9 X3 R; x! Z2 zexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night3 N7 L9 i, c. I0 \: C' P
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
* U" w+ U* v+ H9 [5 t. y O7 ~& ofunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents. m6 {/ D/ w1 T- H' h7 {
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
" H" r2 M q2 n; E9 C$ t, {3 Zpresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc. 9 W) R2 _1 t& S3 P
! ~. X( j) q; [Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
' H' A' ], _; i& OCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
( F5 v9 U# M* c5 S1 `fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
+ @2 [! @& S4 \demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake9 q- _. Y( e( z V# d- W M9 } a
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those: W" Y& A2 y. v8 L& M
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management: Z0 y. k) R% D( y" a
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,7 y3 h' ]! Z* M0 a. B, p2 q# r
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
