& i# i) q6 x0 T: ^: l2 p" BSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
0 ?5 L, p+ b* X" ]+ Ifor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
! e/ E3 Q6 L% j3 f. Qinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

. W; j; N/ l$ D: T+ J+ A# XQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
