Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

& z- t1 B+ j, R# Q/ hDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
( ~. o: f6 j  d* i( v' h) Minclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
; V6 b7 K- P9 |$ @$ J( L' N; kcompounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
- }7 s/ G8 @# L. T- L! m( KChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
" ?2 Z( g9 V; R" g8 W% C1 h) U# hanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
$ t; `/ Y' C: ?" K: U) v( C+ tof a team essential.

0 a5 s* ~% m# W* y; U8 C+ }and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
