! G1 i8 w$ l* |0 vThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.1 u7 k) ?$ S6 S* }% F! X* A# `# X8 {9 d

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:
$ y6 Z/ T6 {. P" j& ~9 q2 T ?- F& b/ W
Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials1 A, W0 {) A: H; [/ v
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
+ A9 X( ]. t: M1 Z2 _6 ?. ]" ULoads and unloads non-ferrous material
6 l4 E- E' H+ qMust be able to work safely at all times5 B- f- H- @- z* V4 X
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently0 y- M6 @9 y6 S2 d4 v+ }
Performs routine housekeeping.
+ Q' R/ y- e: V0 x8 E$ oObserves and reports any safety issues. M! t) t1 @$ d, v8 E
Other duties may be assigned

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

! M1 R9 W: Y0 m! F5 u+ V2 j' qKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
- r* H3 g4 J% M3 I9 S! _High school diploma (Or GED)- ?9 y4 `1 u# A9 f2 u; V/ U1 u7 U
Well-articulated and assertive
% _# l) ~$ x$ m# u& d5 EAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization- ~6 c+ l2 q- f0 D" Y$ F/ i
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
