3 ^# q+ Q; f" @6 [The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.8 u1 N# A3 k, j! v' `

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials" X: I7 G# T5 c; `4 y& [
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
5 a4 n- Z7 \9 b, i+ Q! i8 D( GLoads and unloads non-ferrous material% ]9 {6 H h6 U# H5 X/ r
Must be able to work safely at all times
V5 E& D4 m- |3 i# q W# E) jBe able to effectively perform tasks independently ]9 x# }7 V/ n
Performs routine housekeeping.

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing, {% x3 f2 N: [8 S% C
High school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization1 S& G" z3 V8 V9 Y2 ?, p7 A& G( Z

Ability to write simple correspondence
