4 v G: u7 B: oweekend hours.
2 s+ G" |; N; ^& e, L" H: d# x# QYou will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Research Data Centre (RDC) computer3 D& z: H* Y6 Z. q( s A" Q0 u
lab located on the University of Alberta campus as well as providing administrative support for the; O3 ^, `: f* k2 b4 k
centre.
+ R& s% O1 q# a# f. ]These responsibilities include:
9 f* v8 G9 l* f/ P! r; ~ g- [-Maintain the integrity of the security systems in the RDC.
, M2 D3 |" N9 X9 m6 G# v' I& d2 V-Provide basic support to clients on operating Window XP.
& F! o7 O, M, K2 y6 r5 r ?/ }-Provide general office administration support, such as filing, upgrading software and; @9 q4 s- J3 a& F: Q
renewing licenses, communicating with various university departments with respect to
' V! G$ e+ _. }8 ^) e8 f* ?9 \7 B8 bfacilities’ maintenance, etc. ! p s4 h$ P0 V. m* B2 t% P4 h5 ~
-Conduct other office related tasks, such as Internet documents search, backup of electronic

Statement of Qualifications

" L# O" r% h9 `# D" Q: C4 k7 K, T-Successful completion of Bachelor degree in administration, business, computer sciences,
/ x2 N& q8 [" G l, G& s6 beducation, economics, sociology, statistics or related discipline; or an acceptable combination " n) F2 L: z. F
of education, training and /or experience.
, h; ^, k8 _$ {2 OKnowledge/Technical competencies:
5 a. h: y# @- z. S# z& f- Q1 d- Z; \-General knowledge of the Microsoft Window operating system.
( _- P% r5 S/ M: v-Extensive experience in using Microsoft Window office application software including Word
