CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

* ~, ?1 K9 Y5 W' M$ j· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

$ M" @9 r3 E* r· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

' T$ H4 `5 |/ n$ N· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
9 @  J' ?. K' k3 O2 \9 ]Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
1 f. o8 R% G* g0 {' r
" t0 }2 @+ I& J0 o, s( y: R  u· Valid Class 1 license

8 a/ F2 m  _( P5 C* L- e: ]; K· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification
7 G8 P+ J& w% B/ O. M
2 N6 v4 E& j% K· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
