MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
4 |* B+ o7 N% X) ]5 s/ @Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
4. Calibration of Equipment
. r' u; q3 W8 p# P8 L$ F# m5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
4 V2 b, Z1 V; ]& A6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
8 d5 p6 g0 Q5 S% I; S0 o7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
: o0 G1 n6 h, M) c5 l* S7 `# E5 c' K9 U& }1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
