MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
. h* o( q- F$ r' _Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
7 W& S0 P& r; y- J5 a; z2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
3 c) E8 W1 ]) \4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
% ^: h6 n& h  `' a0 e3 X0 w6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
. U' M3 M. F  t6 z7. Other duties as assigned
" {! g/ H+ Q: P2 FSkills and specifications:
7 z/ o1 e- M. Z/ p9 y+ a1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
4 c) r  n9 ^! U* Y% [3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
