CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

6 J3 a: g* m# V  x/ o: lResponsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
- F$ h+ Q- n2 `•        Publish financial statements in time
8 G( T( b3 w0 w' q) E/ @•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
5 @! M/ y0 g7 w  u# m; K5 m! E•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
) R0 G# f' T9 }" J: P•        Ensure timely bank payments
: I9 }+ S) @$ z; F•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
* L4 B: r% F( e  c% W. t•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

& ^& @9 P! z$ EAccountant Requirements:

•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
( q; n* ~: K) z+ L3 X! r8 X  K8 j. |•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
6 X8 E0 L5 U) f$ _) b•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
) s8 {- z* W% U: w0 n/ i•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
6 P" r7 ~9 v" }( G7 _1 _  M/ f! P•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
/ q& X( J0 @/ u, i/ r) z•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
; `: p: n5 m6 _•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
