CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
; m( v  r' Q! X! Z: K" b) l5 g. L•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
4 \7 O7 k3 i) L•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
2 K+ K% l3 n( u- ]! i•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
0 j, m0 d. e# m8 A•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:
1 D9 X! i6 s- m) z1 \+ [$ b' h
5 ~. |6 L$ y. X/ a•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
' V, f6 o3 K* Z  j•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
+ o" f# I& e0 ^5 I: p8 u# ~•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8 B- n" N' G& Z& R" h1 C0 m& _•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
; y  q! G4 c$ o4 f/ Z5 a' e" @•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
