* V) ?4 g! F. f% K( v2 Y4 yThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
2 ?9 j# r- z9 l7 f+ w3 z* w( b" ?-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
( @- {7 f  k0 [& h-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- j% J$ P$ P. |5 M: r* N( ?- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
; f; e$ Y. D; W9 _$ ?- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
