" d6 f" S5 B- |5 J: m4 K% tThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
6 b" Q' }. E+ s% j0 [/ o2 x-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
0 ^$ n9 W! W% y/ H-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
. X* b1 f7 {" Q1 a* f4 g-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
7 L3 v" m! W: v9 \$ u$ u-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
9 R5 H: K0 J* l- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
! R: Q; `4 W1 |) F1 G* y- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
! A+ c1 x5 d& E. U7 T9 C- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
