This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

2 V; {0 Q  ~% T: rThe procurement officer is responsible for:
. t! g3 R- x+ C-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
( }( ~$ R! P* }% C) P+ Q0 E-        Building and managing supplier relationships
' Z" G- Z' q1 T+ y+ T; W-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
7 h: k- Q! W: i* k- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- _4 Q0 Q$ Y, o* s5 Q6 P. S; Z3 w- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
" V2 G+ `  V# J" A- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
