Essential Responsibilities:

0 g7 S5 z* I+ J9 j, x! I4 c* F5 aPLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.! E4 F8 ~0 I% y. K/ p
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
. @* h" D4 \$ f: C0 @; {Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.) ?! F. g) t5 I4 L6 m
Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.( I/ @# ~/ ^$ H+ V$ c
Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications8 _2 }. Z; H* }
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.+ _! n N- D2 x6 a* A0 ?+ J! C
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.
* s, Q9 R' c7 n3 S5 V5 U+ ^Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed- R. ^3 j+ E! W& q( {: I
Communicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences9 s; @; u1 _4 O1 T- q/ R
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
6 G* O. c _+ wWork with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed
1 F- ^* M) u; IEstablish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
' S+ K; Z' C1 X! DExecute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
: ?7 H/ X I$ cParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
; p _% o; X% g* pWork with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing: `1 R- L3 v/ a7 G7 M( f' W" v( [
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure" H" }. [- C% l
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.! D/ [6 n% Q' c6 D' d

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College3 k1 f+ ^& ]. n- v& E6 ^5 A6 @
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
$ N" E9 ^4 `. w& {8 y" E: C+ MAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)5 m! r0 `! V% Q3 N7 r$ e; A" K F
Experience interpreting process control documents. g$ P0 o" z3 j
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities: I) E- W( m) g- }1 `
Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards1 I' K6 ~* G' K. j+ L# P( |
Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies g" K; ?$ ~6 O" m
Valid passport and driver's license.

Understanding of hydraulics and fundamentals of fluid mechanics and previous experience with water treatment systems9 G$ w5 L: x0 `7 i) f
Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
' x' m2 W3 Y1 kMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)$ y8 Q/ c; w% k& F2 R7 x
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment# @: y1 e; b; L& e
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents3 n5 q7 p P2 b8 h! ~( q
Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision
