As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:+ r3 r9 x6 q2 v+ l/ b% y
* m- u! _! k3 j& U% z- w1 B
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
4 g: N6 V6 E0 R+ }4 Y- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
~$ v: x; s7 O' M( D3 T- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
1 b; p3 b6 k; j( ?) u, R1 M7 n- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 8 L6 w% ~" T3 f( D. }# T( R2 s
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
, [4 a( c$ H+ c, d7 b) ^- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Strong leadership skills
6 P1 {: X/ }% Y- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 2 R( @# C" e$ ^2 D, l `
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
3 O; n4 g, S3 |' n9 f5 N- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 7 g2 F! T# y: H) H
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.* ~6 h8 {/ v' n" T9 _! Y* o* v. e
