As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 7 S5 C! b% Y8 M
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
/ s$ b4 O+ i4 u% v" W# s- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 7 {0 m- z+ G6 M) `) E
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ; }9 j. ^9 `4 N
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. . U5 W8 Q7 K2 D+ t0 _$ ?
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

4 T2 x4 I3 l/ B! f: z5 {+ w, O- Previous supervisory experience 9 w1 [% ]. `& M# n3 L- D/ l1 f- i' F; d
- Strong leadership skills
. r8 t$ s3 P' t; U) M1 O- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
7 q. p% s3 m8 x2 }( P- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
5 N# e8 I" i L- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
* ~: }) C4 b# ?; a$ ?0 B5 x$ T2 v- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques." K) {$ F o$ t) |: ~- G
