6 ~- J9 M% X- s X4 bAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
; p7 p) ~( K% }8 f5 {( r. [0 A, S* e- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. / c$ r& }7 Y8 B T5 X
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
- f7 `1 W0 u2 a5 _( m! V/ \- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 0 q5 j1 Y8 M$ O, |( @/ R
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
; h& J0 {* w+ J3 y6 e- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Strong leadership skills
6 F9 r$ p# s7 v( ^7 K& J @( [- A minimum of grade 12 diploma - H! v( c% i/ J0 a! s# x5 k
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 8 o2 o. q* D$ A% e; d# I9 ]; z& B0 \
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 2 E7 K$ m3 z5 { y4 \
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.* T L4 Y" y! I9 p* t: g: z1 x+ d
