' L/ C. ~' q# x% C5 PAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:' a; W$ ~) E9 r) { {+ X5 M
$ B6 a/ N2 g: ]# }1 }- v' }- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. ' p' ?% p, ?3 Z! [. Y! ~! x$ e
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. / O( \1 A& C5 A
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 0 Y; H/ h* y: ?# W& E
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ; W/ B7 [) L& g3 ^$ f) {
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 3 Z4 f+ C+ b. D, x! d
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ' \: t, l/ H4 ^3 ?$ o
- Managing shift expense budgets. # j9 x' d I) j1 U6 @5 L

Experience and Education Requirements
6 r4 z; V2 C. L
8 F- X6 s. w; Z5 I. X) \' v) Q- A- Previous supervisory experience
2 y- T/ Z* j8 q/ @0 v$ u! ]- Strong leadership skills
" k* e+ X6 Q) l/ k+ |- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
9 b3 b1 B K& O( b- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 7 O8 K. S& G# Y% o
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
: V' b z$ t" v) y% C; f- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
