Students at the University of Alberta have voted in favour of mandatory bus passes, a move that will cost students an extra $75 every term.2 L" R: R$ Y. i; y# o& w4 O

The U-Pass will give students unlimited travel on public transit in Edmonton, Saint Albert and Strathcona County.

Getting to this point took five years of debate and negotiations, said U of A student union president Samantha Power on Friday.
