Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop                                                                                   
Description:
“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
2 }) h7 n: l4 `As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
" y; O8 q4 Y# EThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
) k4 p; H+ O7 |+ G0 n% qKey Responsibilities:
$ {, p4 l# W2 |9 l! s- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

Qualifications:

/ h, [) q* {' z) Z* J% w- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
- Are outgoing and love to work with children

Training:
