• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
: W0 y* i  c$ a$ ]- E, [   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
' ]" |- b. p+ k: `" ^6 }   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
, ]4 M6 g; u# P% T   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
' u# r9 O+ v/ \7 v( l+ k1 B   o Microsoft Operations Manager
/ f! ^! R5 Q, V   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
- H4 i/ U8 `$ z! k% F   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
# t  J- q; A' R4 s/ S' w   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
7 W& Y& G: A$ Q• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
9 r/ y, Z* k: ?, @7 d• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
0 @3 r1 u6 I. O9 k; i0 zplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
  |& o  f) o! O% {8 i• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
. E. a9 X9 d9 d: h$ T2 c% P• Excellent written and verbal skills
+ T% Y3 z0 o$ X, T5 M• Ability to work in a team environment
& ]7 V% m3 I9 J  V7 n• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy

9 Q. f- a: S) ?' U4 B9 q, u• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
* k. _# v, C3 V$ |- U5 d• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
( I2 ~- j* }, [7 d1 Q• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
