RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
! z1 i- |1 ~/ m& Y1 k• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
0 `% C& z6 O4 m8 \0 z& X# W   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
( s5 j2 n+ k/ P$ P( N   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
- B( p  j) B; m: N( X8 [* ?   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
: ?# Q4 M" r7 m5 p; u   o Microsoft Operations Manager
. F: f$ Y: L3 D   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
8 B$ F0 f9 Q% {" O• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
- z+ N: d; Y$ m$ P7 S' p; S# `• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
# V( u1 e) H1 I5 I' _6 j& n6 uSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
6 L* s# T  x2 I, N7 E) r• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
# V, s& w" V" g6 j! e$ \• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
9 @$ A" d0 A1 R8 r• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
5 V3 [6 J  E, Z2 L1 ~+ B% y- D• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
. b& S' d! \( e0 o; J& m4 r+ [   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
  a# C. C2 B+ L) \( C   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
+ W& G& k, ]% p# M• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
. ?5 f+ i1 g5 D% b• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
4 M( I2 G0 K0 j• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
