Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

+ T, O" ?' ]: j4 A2 {7 i- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
' z. u- n5 [4 J/ O  b/ W3 L& t- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
) g+ ~4 U3 J% W% F7 e- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
5 @, U' D# }) g0 k9 ]! N3 K3 g: P- Manage kitchen operations
$ s1 G+ K" K0 j0 F2 E- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
) M# e1 u  }! Z2 i* q+ _Requirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
% g9 j) B6 Y7 ^# M! S- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
# D1 _2 J8 S9 c4 y% D& l8 o' ZThis is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
- {, J) B# n! s& c( RWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
Location: Simonette Camp (51.5 km west of Fox Creek), Alberta
