Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

3 c$ p1 B5 c! b/ b' c  i- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
, p$ x3 Y8 r4 X- Supervise kitchen staff
& G- y. m6 s& j, r& k3 S- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
0 Z) h# l5 j, Y- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
( n- e& x3 ~- C, j4 Q& @8 T- Manage kitchen operations
, B' N" U; b* Q" {5 k- C0 a# X- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
! F5 f: y( T' K- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
* |; L1 t9 C3 H8 o8 K5 J7 k- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
5 U0 g: S3 |* W' z; h- Good proficiency in English.
- @7 g! `- H/ q: m- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
3 m) }$ p, i! {7 LWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
( c$ u  i1 [: O" ?: [9 L$ xWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
