Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Y8 s! m1 W5 [  p# o& {- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
7 y" D$ o, P; n- j/ M, f# [# T- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
' {7 q1 R" m% |; M- Manage kitchen operations
, ~3 Q+ f, `! D2 s; r- o9 l- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
$ N/ ~0 C9 ]: C! I& b6 m6 @& Q0 b- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
+ |1 q( T" v9 P- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
: L8 X# {8 w  G2 P7 O- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.

Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
5 ^( `3 F$ _+ q1 EWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
