Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
2 @( ?$ X) x; d- X3 S- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
; A- i. h0 J5 o) P  l( E( K- c" K% A/ z- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
: b; H: z0 W8 q; k# u2 J6 S' f* O- Work night shifts, as necessary
/ h! ]5 [# x, I8 I- n: r6 A5 ?$ GRequirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
9 s3 Q0 D, N4 R7 R. j0 W1 l- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
/ _' H# x8 b% k* \- G- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
( p- J+ d/ V& v% LWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
4 d0 W+ Z2 N$ USalary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
