Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me:
1 W. K* |+ F9 W1 X8 x8 ~"I am going to send it back". & ?1 w# M( E8 n# g* L
I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
* R: d# O: b$ }5 v6 ~% m5 T X4 J "I am sorry, what are you sending back?" 8 C2 s2 u$ {) \7 _7 c- h
He said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage." - C# Z$ w, j+ Q- X# o+ l0 y. }

"Yes, I did."' y& x" `$ @& Q8 D% [" v
Finally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post. ( X* E5 D- C% l& y/ ~: T* { j9 V0 M
He took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet.

He took out his wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside.
" S; P8 a% t( c$ B' D5 L9 eI gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:4 d2 P% t& g& P: B

"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:

He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."

He did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity. S) u! ~ I5 q4 h
